We
welcome submissions from writers of all ages and experience. We encourage
new writers to submit their work and established writers to use our forum
for experimental fiction. We want to receive “bold” and “brave”
stories. We require that you agree to our terms and conditions and your
submission of a piece of work to us will constitute an acceptance of those
terms and conditions (listed below) by you. Unfortunately, we cannot pay
for publication.
We accept the following types of submissions with strict adherence to
the word limits. Please note that a reasonably short title is not included
in the word count (a title for a very short ficlet should be no more than
two words and for a microfic, one word.)
Ficlets (under 1000 words)
Very short ficlets (under 100 words)
Microfics (20 words or less)
Short poems (under 500 words)

Submissions will be welcomed on any theme and in any genre, provided there
is a GLBT connection, and multiple submissions may be accepted but please
don’t have more than three active submissions at any time. There
will also be regular themed submissions requested, as well as competitions
to enter.
From time to time, we may focus on the work of a single author or group
of authors.
Terms
& Conditions
By submitting work you agree to accept the following terms & conditions:
- Your story stands
alone
- Is GLBT themed or
friendly
- Is not fanfic
- Contains no pornography
(eroticism is fine); racism; excessive gore; or other obscenity
- Is written in English
- Must not be part
of a larger work unless it can stand alone
- Has not been previously
published elsewhere, in any format, with the exception of your own blog
or website or work-shopped in an internet discussion group
- You assign us First
Electronic Rights for a period of three months from the date your work
appears on our site. If your work is published elsewhere before it appears
here you must advise us and withdraw your submission
- After three months,
your work will be transferred to our archives, where it will remain
accessible. If you wish it removed from our site you need to advise
us in writing, by e-mail
- The decision on
whether to publish is made by our Editors and is final.
Submission
Submissions should be in Rich Text Format (RTF) by email, (the email link is at the bottom of these guidelines).
We encourage you to submit a 25 word maximum biography to include with your
work. We will also provide links to your website, and request that you will
reciprocate and link to our site.
We may make minor spelling or grammatical corrections without contacting you.
However, if we believe that significant changes are required, we will contact
you by email. We will contact you to let you know whether your submission has been
accepted or not and when it is likely to appear on the site. We will respond as
quickly as we can, but please understand that this may take some time if we are
receiving many submissions.
Notes for
Formatting
To assist
the editing process, please use Rich Text formatting to post your story,
sending it an as attachment to your email. If you post in any other style formatting
problems may occur.
That is:
- Edit your work in rich
text file format (.rtf) before submission
- Have word-wrap on
- Please use indents for paragraphs, and single spacing between them
- Arial or equivalent font
As
formatting can be lost in transference from one computer to another via the
internet, if you have any special formatting requests, please explain this in
your email.

Instructions
- Please send
only one submission per email.

in the body of the email:
